TrolMaster MBS-GH Feeds the Green-X Its Indoor Climate Data
Every Green-X GCS-1 controller ships with one of these sensors, and it is the source of the controller's indoor readings. This listing is the same part sold on its own, for replacement or as a spare. One head measures air temperature, relative humidity and CO2, and a photocell tells the controller whether it is day or night. TrolMaster pairs an SHT31 temperature and humidity element with a separate NTC temperature sensor. CO2 readings are rated to ±70 ppm ±3%, and temperature to ±0.5°C. Humidity accuracy is ±3% RH. Data travels over RS-485, which holds up well on the long cable runs common in greenhouses. It runs on 12V at 0.1A from the controller and uses less than 1W. Placing a Green-X 4-in-1 Sensor in the House
Plug it into the GCS-1 sensor port, or into an SPH-1 splitter hub that feeds the controller. Let it hang freely at plant height, where the reading reflects what the crop actually feels. Keep it out of direct spray from foggers, misters and irrigation booms. Water or condensate on the housing will throw off readings and shorten sensor life. Clean it with a soft, dry cloth only, and never use solvents. If CO2 numbers look wrong, check that nothing is blocking the sensor opening first. Odd light readings can point to a dirty or shaded lens, so wipe it before recalibrating anything. Paired with the MBS-WS weather station, the controller can compare indoor and outdoor conditions on one screen. That comparison is what lets vent and curtain logic react to what is happening outside. The package measures 7.36 × 5.12 × 2.30 in and weighs 1.01 lbs per the tech sheet.
