The MBS-K30 CO2 sensor used with Carbon-X belongs lower, at the bottom of the canopy. Pick a spot with normal room airflow, away from the direct blast of a fan or humidifier. Keep the sensor out of direct light from fixtures, which can heat the housing and skew readings. Mark the holes with the sensor in the brackets, then fix the brackets with screws suited to the wall. Seat the sensor and route its cable along the wall so it does not pull on the housing. Move the brackets up as the crop grows, keeping the sensor in step with the canopy. In larger rooms, a set for each sensor keeps every reading consistent. Wipe dust off the sensor during routine cleaning. Fitted this way, the brackets turn a dangling sensor into a fixed, reliable data point.
