TrolMaster MBS-Pro 4-in-1 Sensor for Hydro-X Pro and Plus Controllers

The MBS-Pro consolidates the four climate inputs that drive a Hydro-X Pro room. Temperature, relative humidity, CO2 (PPM), and light all read from a single plug-and-play probe. Built for the Hydro-X Pro (HCS-2) and Hydro-X Plus (HCS-3) controllers. Does not work on the original Hydro-X (HCS-1), which uses the older MBS-1/MBS-2 sensor family. The onboard LCD shows current readings without the controller in front of you. Useful during a quick room walk-through.

Four-in-One vs. the Original 3-in-1 — Which Sensor Belongs Where

Pair the MBS-Pro to HCS-2 or HCS-3. The original 3-in-1 MBS-TH will not pair on these controllers. It is a connector and signal protocol difference, not a firmware issue. The MBS-Pro requires an SPH-1 supplemental power module. CO2 sensors draw more than the controller can source over RJ12 alone, so factor that into the bill of materials. Growers typically place the sensor at canopy height in the center of each zone. Up to 50 sensors per Hydro-X Pro lets a multi-zone facility run from one controller.
