The tumbler is the cut. Everything else on a trimmer exists to move flower past it. This one carries 40 stainless slots at 1/4 in, on a smaller diameter than the T2 barrel. That is what reduces handling damage while it works.

Choosing a Replacement Tumbler for Wet or Dry

Wet only is a common misreading. The 1/4 in standard tumbler is rated by Twister for both wet and dry flower, so one tumbler covers a whole harvest rather than two. The alternative is the 3/16 in narrow version, which takes a closer cut. It suits very dry or dense flower, where the standard slot leaves more leaf behind. Fit is exact. This is a T4 part and it will not go into a T2, which runs a different barrel. Because the tumbler is what actually cuts, it is also the part that wears. Swapping it on schedule is the difference between a machine that trims and one that bruises. It is stainless throughout, so it takes a washdown between runs without pitting.
