Ahead of the trimmer, not behind it. A machine fed by hand runs in surges, and a surge is what produces an uneven cut. This belt meters flower in at a rate you set, from 0 to 35 ft/min. That is more than twice the speed the outfeed belt runs at. Feeding wants pace, not inspection time.

Setting Up the Inbound Conveyor Beside a Trimmer

Height is what makes or breaks the install. The legs adjust from 23 to 33 in, a wider range than the outfeed belt gets. It has to reach the top of a T2 or T4 rather than the discharge. The belt is 3.75 in wide inside 3.5 in walls, on a 60 in run. That keeps flower in a single lane instead of spreading. The contact surface is FDA approved urethane. Power is 115V at 1.3A from a 1/30 HP, 25W motor on a 15A circuit. It carries UL, CSA, CE and ROHS marks, which matters more on an inbound belt than people expect at inspection time. Ship weight is about 44 lbs in a 60 x 40 x 12 in crate, with a year on parts.
