X Nutrients Grow Nutrients in bulk, from a single gallon up to a 55 gallon drum. Every container holds the same pH buffered vegetative formula at 1.6-2.1-5.5, run at 15 mL a gallon and paired with the Micro bottle for calcium and iron. The range spans a one-room grower to a facility on a dosing system.

How Far Each X Nutrients Grow Nutrients Container Goes

Five containers, one formula, and a spread of coverage wide enough to be worth doing the arithmetic on. The liquid is the same in all of them: a pH buffered vegetative feed guaranteed at 1.6-2.1-5.5. It carries boron, manganese, molybdenum, zinc and copper, with calcium and iron left to the companion bottle. At the general rate of 15 mL per gallon, one gallon of concentrate makes roughly 252 gallons of feed. The 2.5 reaches about 630 and the five-gallon about 1,261. From there the jump is steep. A 15 gallon container mixes near 3,785 gallons of finished solution and the 55 gallon drum lands somewhere close to 13,879. Shipping weight rises with it, from 50 lb on the five-gallon upward. The base is inorganic, so none of these carry an OMRI listing.

Matching a Base Nutrient Drum to Real Consumption

Work out weekly feed volume first, then divide. A single room mixing a hundred gallons a week empties a gallon of concentrate in roughly two and a half months. That makes the smallest container a sane first take and the drum an expensive mistake. Two or three rooms justify the middle sizes. The two largest containers only make sense where a dosing system or an injector is already plumbed in. Measuring millilitres out of a drum by hand defeats the point of having one. Shelf life deserves a thought as well. A concentrate that takes two years to empty has sat open for two years. Everything else stays constant across the range. One product at a time into the reservoir, pH adjusted last, reservoir changed every one to two weeks. And the same caveat holds at every size, that this is half a system and the Micro bottle has to scale alongside it.

Key Features

  • Sizes: 1, 2.5, 5, 15 and 55 gallon containers of the same concentrate
  • Guaranteed analysis: 1.6-2.1-5.5, identical across every container
  • Coverage: From about 252 gallons of feed up to roughly 13,879
  • Rate: 15 mL per gallon, with a separate week-by-week schedule
  • pH buffered: Buffers hold the tank at the number you set it to
