Filters are used with fans and, in bigger grow rooms, ducting, including 10-inch. GrowersHouse has filters for different duct sizes and brands of fans. We stock intake and exhaust filters for personal grow tents of varying sizes, and filters and air-cleaning systems for commercial growers. On these pages also find replacement filters and refills. Check the specs for each filter to see which can be cleaned periodically.

Filter types include:

• HEPA, stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air. HEPA intake filters remove insects, molds, mildews, spores, pollen, dust, dander and other airborne particles, keeping plants and people healthier.
• Carbon. Because activated charcoal has many small pores, this form of carbon traps allergens, including spores and dust, and is especially effective at trapping the molecules that make up odors, making it ideal on grow tent air exhausts. Canister filters are pleated for more surface area. Many are designed as intake filters.
• Mesh with high MERV (minimum efficiency reporting value) ratings. The higher the rating, the higher the effectiveness in stopping dust, allergens, microorganisms, and other small particles.
