Placement decides whether this works or not. Carbon dioxide is heavier than air, so the bag hangs just above the canopy and lets the gas fall onto the leaves. Too high and it disperses before it reaches anything. If a fan is running, put the bag near the fresh-air intake so the gas gets distributed. Heavy exhaust works against you, because it pulls the gas straight out of the room. Sealed or lightly vented spaces get far more from it than a hard-exhausted one. Keep it out of direct water.
