Each poly-bag pack holds 50 yellow cards, each 3 x 5 in and coated on both faces. The card is BASF's Sensor, sold as a premium monitoring and trapping card. Both sides carry a printed grid, so the count works from whichever face the insects favoured. The glue is BASF's posi-trap formula, a non-drip adhesive that stays on the card rather than on fingers. The edges are left clean for handling, and easy-off liners keep the faces fresh until hanging. BASF rates the cards to hold up in high moisture and under overhead watering. Winged aphids, thrips, whiteflies, fungus gnat adults, shore flies, fruit flies, leafhoppers and adult leafminers all show up on the yellow. The labelled rate is one card per 500 sq ft, placed above the canopy or wherever flight occurs. Doors and vents count as flight zones too. The fresh-pack bag keeps unused cards tacky between scouting rounds.

Pest Monitoring Cards That Turn Scouting Into a Weekly Number
