ThinkGrow Model-H Plus 4 ft Brings Full Model-H Output to 4 ft Benches
The standard Model-H Plus uses longer bars that overhang a 4 ft bench. This version puts the same output on eight 4 ft bars, so it fits 4 ft wide benches and racks. It draws 720 watts and puts out more than 2,160 µmol/s. Efficacy is rated above 3.0 µmol/J. Hydrobuilder lists the four adjustable channels as white, deep red, far red and UV. ThinkGrow's PPFD map shows an average of 1,254 µmol/m²/s at 6 in and 1,050 at 12 in. The driver autosenses 100–277V with a power factor of at least 96%. Current draw is 6.23A at 120V, 3.09A at 240V and 2.71A at 277V. The fixture measures 44.98 × 45.5 × 5.30 in and is rated IP56. ThinkGrow rates the diodes at L90 beyond 54,000 hours with a 5-year warranty.
Running a 720W LED Grow Light in a Controlled Room
Each fixture ships with its driver, eight light bars, a 12 ft power cord, a 16 ft four-pin waterproof extension cable and two driver hangers. Hang it more than six inches above the canopy. The on-board dimmer covers simple rooms with no central controller. Group control lets one fixture set the level for the rest of the room. External control through TrolMaster links dimming and spectrum to the room's schedule. Growers can push deep red in flower, add far red at lights-off and bring in UV late in the cycle. Heat load is about 2,457 BTU/h per fixture, so size cooling for the full room. The fixture is ETL listed, according to Hydrobuilder. Retailers list the fixture weight at 31.66 lbs.
