FloraFlex infographic: QuickFill coco, V and B nutrients, LED grow lights, key specs and feed timing

FloraFlex has been a cultivation brand since 2015, and its products work together in drip-fed hydroponic rooms. Pair the bags with other media in our coco coir range, or compare feeds in commercial powder nutrients.

FloraFlex Product Types

QuickFill Coco Coir Grow Bags

QuickFill is a pre-filled, pre-drilled bag of super-washed coco compressed 5:1. Hydrate it with drippers and it expands to a fixed 60% water-holding capacity with 40% air space. You drop a clone or plug into the center hole, and two side holes take the drippers. Because every bag hydrates the same way, irrigation and EC steering behave the same across the room. Sizes here run from 3/4 to 3 gallons, in mesh-wrapped O2 or plastic-wrapped versions.

FloraFlex Nutrients

These feeds are water-soluble mineral powders in two parts. V1 and V2 feed vegetative growth, while B1 and B2 carry the plant through bloom. Bulky B (0-14-43) adds potassium during weeks 2 to 6 of flower, and Full Tilt (0-47-35) finishes the last two weeks. The powders dissolve clear, so they run through drip lines and stock tanks without clogging emitters. Dry bags also ship and store more compactly than liquid feeds.

FloraFlex LED Grow Lights

LED fixtures supply the light that drives photosynthesis indoors. The DLC 700W delivers 1,890 µmol/s at 2.7 µmol/J over a 4 x 4 ft bloom canopy. Its diodes mix 3000K, 5000K, 660 nm and 730 nm. The High Bay 680W, the 900W and a 1200W six-bar fixture cover other room layouts. Under-canopy kits use 120W bars in full spectrum or far red to light lower bud sites that top fixtures miss. Matching power cords and stands complete each install.

Drip Irrigation Parts

FloraCap 3.0 top-feed caps sit on 4, 6 or 8 in rockwool cubes and spread each drop evenly across the media. Their louvers block light to curb algae, and the maker rates them to cut top-feed events by up to 50%. The 3/16 in ID green tubing carries feed from the manifold to each dripper. Even wetting keeps every cube on the same schedule as the coco bags.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is FloraFlex Quick Fill?

Quick Fill is an expandable coco grow bag. Super-washed coco is compressed 5:1 inside a printed bag with a pre-drilled planting hole and two dripper holes. Once hydrated, it settles at 60% water-holding capacity and 40% air space. The maker says a room of 1 gallon bags can expand in about 90 minutes using two 0.3 GPH drippers per plant.

Is FloraFlex nutrients organic?

No. They are mineral salts sold as water-soluble powders, not organic inputs. Full Tilt, for example, is derived from monopotassium phosphate, and Bulky B from potassium and magnesium sulfates plus monopotassium phosphate. That mineral makeup lets the feed dissolve completely, so it suits drip irrigation and automated dosing in coco and rockwool.

How to use FloraFlex nutrients?

Fill the tank, dissolve Part 1 (V1 or B1) completely, then add Part 2 (V2 or B2). Never premix the two dry parts together. Add Bulky B or Full Tilt only after the base feed dissolves. Check EC, then adjust pH to about 5.8 to 6.2 for coco or rockwool. Follow the brand's feed chart and label rates for each stage.

What does FloraFlex Full Tilt do?

Full Tilt is a 0-47-35 phosphorus and potassium ripener for the final stretch of bloom. The label calls for 3 to 5 grams per gallon across the last two weeks of fertilized feedings, before the flush. Add it after B1 and B2 have fully dissolved. Growers use it to firm up flowers as the crop ripens.

What diodes does FloraFlex use?

The DLC 700W combines 3000K warm white, 5000K cool white, 660 nm deep red and 730 nm far red diodes. That mix covers the full cycle from veg through late flower. The far-red under-canopy kits add Osram far-red chips to their white diodes, which drives photosynthesis harder in shaded lower leaves.
