Grow Light Parts + Accessories

Grow light accessories keep a lighting system running: drivers and dimmers set intensity, cords carry power and hangers hold height. Match parts to your fixture brand and voltage first. Commercial rooms add controller adapters and lifters, while home growers usually need a cord, a hanger and glasses.

These replacement parts sit under grow lights. Match the connector and voltage to your fixture brand before anything else, since most cords and adapters here fit one family only.

Types of Grow Light Parts

Drivers, Dimmers and Control Adapters

The ThinkGrow TLD-4 drives one 90W bar with four channels: full spectrum, deep red, far red and UV. The Fluence dimmer sends 0-10V or PWM to up to 25 fixtures. TrolMaster LMA adapters turn a controller's digital signal into the voltage a driver reads.

Power Cords and Adapters

Gavita, Iluminar, ThinkGrow and PHOTOBIO cords come in 120V, 240V and 277V versions. The Gavita 5 pin to 3 pin adapter lets older cords feed newer fixtures. The full range is on the power cords and accessories page.

Hangers, Lifters and Mounts

The ThinkGrow LLT-2 lifter raises 132 lbs through 9.2 feet on a remote or Hydro-X controller. The UH-1 hanger mounts fixtures straight to 1-5/8 inch Unistrut. Ratchets and movers are on the light hangers and movers page.

Lamp Parts and Grow Room Glasses

The LEC socket adapter lets a mogul-base hood take a 315W CMH lamp, paired with an LEC ballast. A borosilicate shield guards single-jacket DE lamps. For eyes, see grow room glasses from Method Seven and AC Infinity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you dim LED grow lights?

Yes, if the driver has a dimming input. Most horticultural LEDs read a 0-10V signal from a wall dimmer or controller. Fluence recommends up to 25 fixtures on one dimmer across no more than 200 feet of signal wire. Longer runs weaken the signal, so far fixtures stop tracking.

What is 0-10V dimming?

It is a low-voltage control signal where 10 volts means full output and lower voltages dim the fixture. The signal travels on its own cable, separate from the AC power line. The TrolMaster LMA-14 outputs up to 11.5 volts, so fixtures at the far end of a run still reach full power.

How do you hang grow lights from the ceiling?

Run Unistrut or rated anchors across the ceiling in line with the fixture's hanging points. Confirm the channel can carry the full weight first. Hangers like the ThinkGrow UH-1 keep the light close to the ceiling, which leaves more room above the canopy in low rooms.

Do you need glasses for grow lights?

Most growers wear tinted glasses because bright grow lights make leaf color hard to judge. Pick lenses by spectrum. Method Seven's Operator LED Plus suits magenta LEDs only. AC Infinity glasses swap green, blue and gray lenses for LED, HPS and full spectrum light.
